Dr Cezula attained her Medical Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and thereafter worked in prestigious academic medical institutions such as Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital and Charlotte Maxeke Hospital, where she gained experience in specific areas of her field from plastic surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, trauma and general surgery.

Dr Cezula received her training as an ENT expert at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital Complex through the University of Pretoria. She became a Fellow of the College of Otorhinolaryngologists of South Africa. In addition to this, she obtained her Master of Medicine degree in Otorhinolaryngology through the University of Pretoria. She has also done an Observership in Sinus and Base of Skull Surgery at Rutgers University New Jersey, USA and an Advanced Sinus and Anterior Base of Skull Surgery course in the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town.

Dr Cezula received several leadership awards, including Medical intern of the Year and was appointed Deputy Chair and Chairperson of the ENT Registrar Society South Africa. She is also registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, the South African Medical Association and the ENT Society of South Africa.
